What is the safety awareness course?
NPORS safety awareness is 1 day health and safety course designed to cover all the topics so that individuals can take the CITB test for operatives. This is included in the TUPPCO NPORS Safety awareness training – S001
What does the TUPPCO NPORS Safety awareness training course include?
- The need to prevent accidents
- Health and Safety Law, Regulations, Guidance notes
- How your role fits into the control and management of the site
- Risk assessments and method statements
- Knowledge of fire safety
- Performing safely and asking for advice
- How to report unsafe acts to prevent an Accident
Venue and equipment requirements:
- Suitable and safe area to complete paperwork
- Suitable welfare facilities
- Risk assessment completed
