What is the thorough test examination course?

The BAGMA thorough test examination course is for any competent person that is required to complete a report on machinery conjunction with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER)

What does the training course include?

  • Health and Safety Law, Regulations, Guidance notes
  • Risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Role and reasonability’s of a thorough test examiner
  • Understanding the requirements of filling out a report
  • Able to complete a report on telescopic handlers, counterbalance forklifts, tractors, excavators, lifting accessories etc
  • Understanding the roles of a centre manager

  • Suitable and safe area to complete paperwork
  • Risk assessment completed
  • PPE Requirements:
  • Suitable head protection
  • Suitable eye protection
  • Suitable hearing protection
  • Suitable work clothes including wet weather
