What is the thorough test examination course?
The BAGMA thorough test examination course is for any competent person that is required to complete a report on machinery conjunction with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER)
What does the training course include?
- Health and Safety Law, Regulations, Guidance notes
- Risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Role and reasonability’s of a thorough test examiner
- Understanding the requirements of filling out a report
- Able to complete a report on telescopic handlers, counterbalance forklifts, tractors, excavators, lifting accessories etc
- Understanding the roles of a centre manager
Venue and equipment requirements:
- Suitable and safe area to complete paperwork
- Risk assessment completed
- PPE Requirements:
- Suitable head protection
- Suitable eye protection
- Suitable hearing protection
- Suitable work clothes including wet weather
- Gloves
- Suitable work boots including steel toe protection
